We are partnering with a well-established national law firm to recruit a Senior Lawyer or Senior Associate to join its Real Estate practice in Brisbane.
This is an excellent opportunity for a property lawyer to work on high-value transactions and large-scale development projects within a highly regarded and growing team.
About the Role
This position sits within a leading Real Estate team advising a diverse client base, including property developers, institutional investors, government bodies, and major landlords and tenants.
The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of complex property matters across multiple sectors. The role offers a strong mix of transactional and advisory work, with a focus on acquisitions and disposals, leasing, and development projects.
You will work closely with senior practitioners while managing your own matters and building strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
· Advising on acquisitions and disposals across commercial, industrial, and rural assets
· Conducting and managing property due diligence processes
· Drafting and negotiating a range of property agreements and contracts
· Advising on leasing matters across retail, commercial, and industrial portfolios
· Supporting large-scale development and investment projects
· Providing strategic property law advice to a diverse client base
· Managing client relationships and delivering high-quality service
· Collaborating with colleagues across practice areas
· Mentoring and supervising junior lawyers (for Senior Associate level)
About You
· 4–7 years’ post-qualification experience in property or real estate law
· Experience gained within a reputable commercial law firm
· Strong technical skills across property transactions and leasing
· Experience in due diligence and advisory work
· Excellent drafting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Commercial mindset with attention to detail
· Interest in mentoring and developing junior lawyers
