We are partnering with a well-regarded plaintiff law firm to recruit a Senior Paralegal to join its growing team in Parramatta.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal support professional to work closely with senior practitioners within a fast-paced and collaborative environment, supporting a busy personal injury practice.
About the Role
This position will involve providing high-level paralegal and administrative support across a range of personal injury matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth progression of files while maintaining strong communication with clients and external stakeholders.
The role offers exposure to litigation matters across various court jurisdictions, along with the opportunity to work within a supportive and high-performing team.
Key responsibilities include:
· Managing diaries, appointments, and scheduling requirements
· Preparing legal correspondence, court documents, and general litigation materials
· Assisting with matters across Local, District, and Supreme Court jurisdictions
· Filing documents through online court portals and electronic systems
· Liaising with clients, medical professionals, insurers, barristers, and other stakeholders
· Coordinating appointments, conferences, and medical assessments
· Assisting with file management, including opening, maintaining, and closing files
· Providing administrative support to lawyers across the practice
· Supporting day-to-day office operations and assisting with general systems administration where required
About You
· Previous experience working within a legal support or paralegal role
· Experience within personal injury or litigation will be highly regarded
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
· High level of proficiency across legal systems and Microsoft Office applications
· Professional and client-focused approach
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
