Our client, a leading national firm renowned for delivering high-quality personal injury legal services, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Workers Compensation Lawyer to join our Sydney CBD team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and driven legal professional with 4+ years of post-admission experience in workers compensation to take on a key role in a well-established and growing practice.
About the Role
- Act for injured workers in statutory claims, work injury damages, and common law proceedings;
- Provide sound legal advice and represent clients at the Personal Injury Commission and in the District Court;
- Manage a caseload independently from start to finish;
- Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals as required;
- Contribute to the firm’s strong reputation for advocacy and client service.
About You
- Minimum of 4 years+ PQE in workers compensation or personal injury law;
- Strong litigation skills and knowledge of the Workers Compensation legislation in NSW;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Compassionate and client-focused, with a genuine passion for helping people;
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment;
- Experience mentoring junior staff is highly desirable.
