We are partnering with a well-established litigation practice to recruit a Class Action Solicitor to join its growing Sydney team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation lawyer seeking exposure to complex and high-profile class action proceedings while working alongside experienced practitioners in a collaborative and professional environment.
About the Role
This position will involve assisting with the management and progression of class action matters across all stages of litigation. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting case strategy, client engagement, legal research, and the preparation of litigation materials.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of complex disputes and representative proceedings, providing an excellent platform for professional development within a growing practice area.
Key responsibilities include:
· Assisting with the management and progression of class action litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
· Conducting legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies and case development
· Drafting pleadings, court documents, correspondence, submissions, and settlement documentation
· Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process
· Assisting with court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations
· Reviewing evidence and preparing briefing materials for counsel and experts
· Monitoring legal developments and legislative changes relevant to class action and complex litigation matters
· Supporting senior lawyers and contributing to the efficient management of litigation files
About You
· Admitted to practice as a Solicitor in Australia, ideally in New South Wales
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in litigation, dispute resolution, or class action matters
· Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within a fast-paced environment
· Professional, proactive, and client-focused approach
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
