We’re partnering with a well-regarded legal practice that is looking for a motivated Solicitor to join their Dust Diseases team in Sydney. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s interested in complex statutory litigation and wants to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
The firm works closely with major government and non-government organisations and handles a wide range of matters within the NSW Dust Diseases jurisdiction. The team is known for its collaborative culture, strong values, and commitment to high-quality work.
What you’ll be doing:
· Reviewing and analysing complex factual and medicolegal information
· Providing clear and timely legal advice within set timeframes
· Managing strong client relationships and offering regular updates on case progress
· Working towards efficient and cost-effective resolutions, including matters progressing to mediation
· Staying current with relevant legislation, updates, and key decisions in the Dust Diseases jurisdiction
What we’re looking for:
· A law degree and current NSW Practising Certificate
· Experience in Personal Injury, Workers Compensation, and/or Dust Diseases matters
· Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines independently
· A professional, collaborative approach and strong interpersonal skills
· Motivation and commitment to ongoing learning and development
