We are partnering with a well-established firm seeking an experienced Solicitor to join a dynamic team specialising in Medical Negligence claims. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer with 2+ years PAE who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment and is committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for clients. Working closely with senior practitioners, you will manage all stages of complex claims, from case intake and evidence-gathering to negotiation, settlement, or litigation.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Manage a caseload of Medical Negligence matters, including surgical errors, misdiagnosis, birth injuries, hospital-care failings, and cosmetic or dental negligence claims.
· Conduct detailed analysis of medical records and legal issues, identify breaches of duty, causation, and loss, and work with expert witnesses to build cases.
· Draft pleadings, statements of claim, schedules of loss, correspondence, and other legal documents.
· Liaise directly with clients, medical professionals, insurers, and other stakeholders, ensuring sensitive and clear communication throughout the matter.
· Prepare for and attend mediations, negotiations, and court hearings as required.
· Maintain accurate records of matters, track deadlines, manage budgets, and support business development initiatives.
· Collaborate with senior lawyers and team members to ensure cases progress efficiently and client expectations are met.
About You
· Qualified Solicitor with 2+ years PAE in Medical Negligence or closely related areas such as serious injury or birth injury claims.
· Proven ability to manage Medical Negligence matters from instruction to resolution.
· Excellent analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills with strong attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills, with empathy and professionalism when dealing with vulnerable clients.
· Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal practice management systems.
· Committed to continuous professional development and contributing to a supportive team environment.
