We are partnering with a well-established law firm to recruit a Strata & Construction Lawyer (1–9 PAE) to join its Sydney team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior-to-mid level lawyer looking to develop their career across strata, construction and related disputes.
About the Role
The role will involve working across a diverse range of strata and construction matters, with key responsibilities including:
· Preparing legal advice, correspondence and documentation
· Conducting legal research and assisting with complex matters
· Drafting and reviewing building and construction contracts
· Assisting with building defect and construction litigation
· Managing strata and contract disputes
· Assisting with strata renewal proceedings
· Supporting matters involving remedial building works and construction compliance
· Preparing evidence and documentation for litigation
· Working closely with senior lawyers and partners across a range of matters
About You
· 1–9 years post-admission experience
· Interest in developing a career in strata and construction law
· Litigation and/or construction experience desirable
· Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
· Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively
· Commercial and practical approach to legal matters
· Genuine willingness to learn and develop technical expertise
